"Oh My Gosh!"

Hi everyone!

Have you ever been embarrassed by some of the things that happen to you? I know I have.

I remember when I was younger than I am now, I had to wear this ugly dark brown skirt with a pretty much psychedelic colored shirt. I was a waitress, and yes still in high school. I remember using the restroom, and when I came out of the bathroom, I felt a draft. I didn't really know why, but I felt it. Come to find out, that when I pulled my nylons up, my skirt was definitely tucked into the nylons. What was worse, was the restaurant that I worked at was packed, and people had to wait just to get a table, and nobody told me that my skirt was tucked into my nylons. Now tell me how many woman have done that? Then, tell me how many of you made sure that never happened again? All I know is I was flashing everyone my Heine, and nobody was nice to tell me that I was. I will say, this has never happened to me again, and I will make darn sure it never will. Looking back at it now, it is pretty funny, and I have told several woman as I moved on with my life, that their skirt or dress is tucked into their nylons. So help a fellow woman out and save them the embarrassment, and tell them.

Have you ever eaten corn-on-the-cob, and thought you've gotten all the kernels out of your teeth? Well, unfortunately, this has happened to me. I was on a date one night, at a very nice, but not so fancy restaurant. Silly me ordered corn-on-the-cob. As the date went on we were having desert and my date was making me laugh. He had a great personality and he was very humorous. He was filled with hilarious jokes, and yes I was laughing at everything. We finally left and he took me home. As I was getting ready for bed, I went to brush my teeth. I just about peed my panties, when I saw a kernel stuck between my two front teeth. Now this kernel was not the white part of the corn, oh no, it had to be the yellowish part of the corn. I was so embarrassed. No wonder my date was telling me all kinds of jokes. Just so he could see the kernel that was stuck between my teeth. To this day, I always wondered why he didn't tell me. I sure hope he had a great time, at my expense. If you ever come across someone who has food in their teeth, tell them. Because I'm sure if you had food in your teeth, you wouldn't want someone not to tell you.

Here's one for you all. This did not happen to me, but I tried to tell this person about it and was unsuccessful. In my twenties, I use to go to a lot of concerts. This one concert in Detroit, The Who was playing, and as I walked out of the bathroom, I saw a guy walking further down from me. He was carrying a trail of toilet paper, that was stuck to the bottom of his shoe. I hollered for him, but he just did not respond. So, I ran as fast as I could to catch up to him, and as I caught up to him I went to step on the toilet paper, I tripped and yes tackled him. I wasn't trying to tackle the poor fella, I just happened to trip. He looked at me and started to sign language. No wonder he didn't hear me yelling at him, he's deaf. I quickly pointed to his shoe that had the toilet paper hanging on it, and all of a sudden, the guy started laughing. He helped me up off the floor, took the TP off his shoe and gave me a big hug and told me thank you. Ahh, so sweet.

In the middle 80's I worked at this very busy Gyro sandwhich shop, which a couple of Greek brothers owned. It was a great, fun place to work. As I got off work one morning(5 am), I was walking to my car. and yeah, still dark. As I crossed the street, I noticed something shiny. I bent over to see what it was, because we all know that curiosity is not controllable, and it was a watch. One of the straps was broken on it, and it was a Seiko. This watch had a little diamond for the 12. I put it in my pocket, and as I approached the curb, I bent over again and found a $100 bill, and laying beside it was like a compact box. It kind of looked like a makeup box, but when I opened it, it was an alarm clock. Pretty cool one. I put all of it in my pocket and finally reached my car. What a lucky night I had. I found a watch that had a diamond in it, an alarm clock, and most important a $100 bill. Just goes to show you, anyone can be lucky.

In conclusion; Don't be afraid to tell someone you know, or a stranger of the embarrassment that is about to happen to them. Tell them, because believe me, nobody likes to be embarrassed, and we all know it is not right to have a good laugh at someone elses expense. Think of this; it just might happen to you.

Thanks for reading and have a wonderful day!!!

Your feedback is always welcomed.............
